Abandoned Late 1700s House

Built: 1789
Abandoned / Vacant: mid 2000s
Location: US
Status: Owned but Vacant
Reason: Not sure
Haunted: Maybe

Built in the late 1700s, this colonial stone farm house sits vacant, wide open, and left to decay. Vandals have entered the home tagging every room. Not much history was found on this home, but what I could find is the home is dated 1789. Of course, additions were added onto this home as the years went on. Exploring this house was kind of neat. It seemed like a maze with how rooms were connected. Sad to see it in this condition. Also on the property was a small storage shed and another building which looked to be used as more storage, possibly a studio.

  1. This is amazing Steve, I am so intrigue on what you do here. For years I have been looking for an abandoned property such as these you document and visit to own for myself. if you could email me the addresses or if you do not have the addresses locations of these locations so I can do more research and see if any would be available for purchase, more as a getaway vacation home I can make my own. In the process of looking for such a thing I found your website please and thank you and I will be contributing a large donation in return thank you

  2. It actually looks like most of the problems with this house are cosmetic. I don’t think it would take a lot of money to make it livable again.
