Lucky Shop House

Built: 1800s
Abandoned: 2000s
Location: South East Pennsylvania
Status: Still Abandoned
Reason: Financial Issues
Haunted: No

Built in the 1800s, the once school house use to be a barn. The barn was then converted to a house. The date on when this happened is unclear. In the 1900s, it became part of a JV School used for classes and a school clothing store. This is how the house ended up with the name, "the Lucky Shop". When the school closed down, the house ended up being vacated as well in 2002. It sits right next to another 1800s house called "The Little House" which I also have photos of (located in my Abandoned Gallery under Residential). When I explored this place for the first time, the outside area of this place smelled like something died. Concerned about what I might walk up on, I searched and found a trailer out back with dead deer. Turns out, these deer are road kill that the township picks up and stores back here. The smell was awful.
